Free Shipping

We offer free Standard 2-3 day shipping on US orders only.

Expedited Shipping Fees

We also offer expedited shipping at the following rates:

If you select an expedited shipping option, we will follow up after you have placed the order with any additional shipping information.

All times and dates given for delivery of the products are given in good faith but are estimates only.

For EU and UK consumers: This does not affect your statutory rights. Unless specifically noted, estimated delivery times reflect the earliest available delivery, and deliveries will be made within 30 days after the day we accept your order. For more information please refer to our Terms.

Do you deliver internationally?

We offer worldwide shipping for a set fee of $150. Free Standard 2-3 day shipping is not valid on international orders.

Please note, that we may be subject to various rules and restrictions in relation to some international deliveries and you may be subject to additional taxes and duties over which we have no control. If such cases apply, you are responsible for complying with the laws applicable to the country where you live and will be responsible for any such additional costs or taxes.

What happens if my order is delayed?

If delivery is delayed for any reason we will let you know as soon as possible and will advise you of a revised estimated date for delivery.

Thank you for your purchase. We hope you are happy with your purchase. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to us for a full refund only. Please see below for more information on our return policy.

Retruns

All returns must be postmarked within fourteen (14) days of the purchase date. All returned items must be in new and unused condition, with all original tags and labels attached.

Return Process

Step One: Contact info@the-ecu-pro.com for returns.

You must return the items in their original package.

You must include all accessories and user manuals that came in the same package.

Where an item has been purchased as a part of a bundle of multiple items, all multiple items within that bundle must be returned.

Please treat the items with care and return them in the condition that they were delivered to you.

Replacement or refund can only be processed once we have received all the items to be returned.

If you return items 1) that you are not entitled to return, 2) that are not in their original condition, 3) that are without proper or missing packaging, 4) with items missing from the return delivery, 5) without following our return instructions, or 6) have otherwise failed to exercise reasonable care when taking care of and returning items, we reserve the right either to reject your return and decline to refund or to deduct from those payments to be refunded to you reasonable repair or other similar direct costs that we have incurred, subject to applicable law.

If your return has been accepted, we will refund you the price you have actually paid for the items less any applicable shipping costs (as per the above) by crediting your payment card thirty (30) calendar days after the date of receipt of the delivery.

Please note, that you will be responsible for all return shipping charges. We strongly recommend that you use a trackable method to mail your return. 

Refunds

After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return. Please allow at least ten (10) days from the receipt of your item to process your return. Refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear on your credit card statement, depending on your credit card company.

Exceptions

The following items cannot be returned:

•     All items related to the testing or repair of products which is deemed a service provided

• How does the Ford FICM Repair Process work?

1. Remove your FICM from your vehicle.
2. Mail us your part. 
3. You can choose between a standard 48 V repair or a 58 V repair. We always recommend the 58 V repair as it increases the supply voltage to the injectors. 
4. Once repaired, we will mail the part back to you. 

• What is a FICM module? 

A Ford Fuel Injection Control Module (FICM) is an electronic control unit that manages and regulates the fuel injection system in Ford diesel engines. The FICM receives signals from various sensors in the engine, such as the crankshaft position sensor and the engine coolant temperature sensor, and uses this information to control the fuel injectors and ensure proper fuel delivery to the engine. Additionally, the FICM also monitors the voltage supply to the injectors and controls the glow plug system used for cold starts. It is typically located on the engine and connected to the engine wiring harness and the fuel injectors.

• What are the primary functions of a Ford FICM? 

The primary function of a Ford Fuel Injection Control Module (FICM) is to control and regulate the fuel injection system in Ford diesel engines. It receives signals from various sensors in the engine and uses this information to control the fuel injectors and ensure proper fuel delivery to the engine. Additionally, the FICM also monitors the voltage supply to the injectors and controls the glow plug system used for cold starts.

• How to identify a failed Ford FICM module?

There are several signs that may indicate a failed FICM in a Ford diesel engine. Some common symptoms include:

1. Engine cranking but not starting: If the FICM fails to supply power to the injectors, the engine may crank but not start.

2. Hard starting: If the FICM is not able to regulate the fuel injectors properly, the engine may have difficulty starting or may start and then stall.

3. Rough running or misfiring: A failed FICM can cause the engine to run poorly or misfire, as the fuel injectors may not be delivering the correct amount of fuel to the engine.

4. Reduced power and poor fuel economy: If the FICM is not able to properly control the fuel injectors, the engine may not be able to develop full power and may have poor fuel economy.

5. Warning lights: The check engine light may come on, or in some cases, the warning light for the injectors may come on.

6. DTC (diagnostic trouble code) may be stored in the vehicle's computer memory.

It is important to note that these symptoms can also be caused by other problems in the fuel system, such as a clogged fuel filter or a failing injector. A proper diagnosis by a qualified technician using diagnostic equipment is necessary to confirm the cause of the problem.

• Can a FICM be repaired?

Yes, we offer two main FICM repair options: A Standard 48V repair and a 58V Repair. 

Standard 48V Repair

The standard 48V repair is the most common and affordable option for fixing a failed FICM. This repair involves replacing the faulty FICM with a new or remanufactured module that is designed to match the specifications of the original unit. The new FICM will be programmed to the vehicle's original specifications and will be tested to ensure proper function.

58V Repair

A 58V repair is a more advanced option for fixing a failed FICM. This repair involves upgrading the FICM to a higher 58 volt unit. The higher voltage allows for a stronger and more stable power supply to the injectors, which can improve the engine's performance and fuel economy. This repair is typically recommended for vehicles that are used for towing, other heavy-duty applications, or vehicles that operate in cold weather. 

Both options can get your vehicle back on the road and running smoothly again.

• How much does it cost to fix a Ford FICM

We offer two Ford FICM repairs. A standard 48V repair for $249 or a $325 58V repair service.

• Can a used FICM be programmed to your vehicle? 

Yes a used FICM can be coded to your vehicle's VIN.  

• Where is the FICM located in a Ford V6 Diesel?

The location of the Fuel Injection Control Module (FICM) can vary depending on the make and model of the vehicle, but in Ford diesel engines, it is typically located on the engine. It is usually found on the driver's side of the engine, near the front of the engine compartment. It is usually mounted to the engine block or the valve cover, and it is connected to the engine wiring harness and the fuel injectors.

In some models, the FICM is located under the hood, near the battery, where it is connected to the vehicle's power supply. It is sometimes mounted on a bracket or a plate and sometimes enclosed in a protective case.
